Cancer Prevention - General Info

Dear patient,

You have registered for a gynecological cancer screening. This statutory screening can be performed once a year. Some of the most common types of cancer can be detected in their early or even precancerous stages with this examination.

These types of cancer, by age, include the following:

  • From age 20 onward: 
    Detection of cervical cancer through a cervical smear, detection of ovarian cancer through palpation, blood pressure measurement
  • Additionally, starting at age 35:
    Cervical smear combined with HPV test
  • Additionally, starting at age 50:

We also offer the following optional services:

  • Vaginal ultrasound (IUD? Cysts? Fibroids? Uterine changes?)
  • Breast ultrasound (Cysts, lumps?)
  • Pap test (Cervical cancer screening)
  • Chlamydia (Change of partner/child)
  • Immunological stool test (Early detection of bowel changes)
  • Bladder test (Bladder tumor screening)
  • HPV test (Change of partner?)
  • Urine test (Bacteria, blood, sugar?)
